Monthly contributions are made to Brot fuer die Welt, UNICEF and Plan International Germany, all of which are organizations striving to make the world a little more fair and worth living in. Sebastian also supports echo source e.V. - a community project for ecologically and socially sustainable change through active civic participation - by providing consulting and design services free of charge.
Green Design is an elemental part of every design project, right from the start - for print and online. Sebastian incorporates ecologic production methods and sustainable operation. The design office is powered by Greenpeace Energy, solely on sustainable energy. Websites are hosted with selected, green hosters, such as Goneo.de which runs its entire server farm on eco-friendly power by lichtblick.de.
Unnecessary printing of documents such as quotations or invoices will be avoided whenever possible. Instead, these documents are sent electronically as PDF files. Sebastian also consults his clients to choose eco-friendly paper which has been recycled or which is carrying the FSC certificate, and to select climate-neutral printing companies.
And when all the work is done, all devices within the office are actually shut off, instead of keeping them running in stand-by mode.
